Characteristics
Strong thixotropy and remarkable smoothness in construction.

It is not easy to flocculate and float compared with organic polymer thickener.
When dosage exceeds a certain value, the viscosity rises sharply.

Usage

The product is added to the water at the beginning of the dispersion.The othercomponents should preferably be added to the disperser and stirred at high speed for 20 minutes under high shear to achieve complete dispersion. It can also be made into a 3 to 5% pregel which is then added to the system in the form of a pregel. If the pregel is prepared under low shear, it should be allowed to stand for 12 hours to prevent post-thickening. The amount of HL-W160 added is 0.2% to 2% throughout the system.

Dosage

The addition quantity of HL-W160 depends on the type of organics, viscosity and other rheological properties.
The amount of HL-W160accounts for 0.2%-2.0% of the whole system. The optimum dosage should be determined by experiment.

Efficient dispersing equipment and technique can better optimize the performance of HL-W160 with less dosage and more profits.
